Eating and Smoking
How many of you guys eat and/or smoke in your car? Just curious because I'm very picky about letting my friends eat or how they screw around in my car. Anyone?

Just like any sane person, no eating, drinking or smoking. I only drink in my car when its not moving, and if it has a cap that can be screwed on.
I didn't even let my boss smoke in my car.

I drink in my car, but never eat or smoke.
I don't smoke anyway, and can't stand other smokers. I never let them smoke in my car.. ever. If they do, i'll stop and make them walk home.

Yeah, I'm picky and borderline **** on what people do in my car. No eating or drinking, and people know better than to smoke that close to me. No dirty shoes (not even a little), etc.
I let people drink if they have a bottlecap, but eating is a no no for apholstery. And since I installed new carpet, people must keep their shoes on the floor mats at all times, and if they see fit as to not do so, they get 1 warning then that's it!

I eat in my car, and let others do so as well, since I vacuum the interior about once a week anyways, and give a nice steam cleaning in there about once a month anyways.
Drinking is allowed too, but they get told very strictly that if they spill anything that they WILL die
I hate the smell of smoke anyways, so no one even gets to smoke NEXT to my car, none the less in it.
Now I just wish my car would run again so I can start being **** about the interior again... currently it's got metal shavings all over the floor from when I drilled the new holes on the 4th gen dash.
The 4th gen center console doesnt have the top layer on it, the front seats are out, it makes me cringe every time I look at the car lol.

My interiors not mint, so eating and drinking is fine. But absolutely NO smoking. I made the mistake of letting my best friend smoke in my car after I first purchased it, and she dropped her cig on my carpet...

On the few days a year that my car runs I don't mind eating and drinking. I figure like 3 times a year is ok. Nobody has ever tried to smoke in my car. I would probably tell them to **** off depending on if I was drunk or not.

Eat - Depends what it is (and do I get some?)
Drink - If it has a lid and straw, then no problem.
Smoke - Drive your own car if you wanna smoke.

i rarely eat or drink in my car. if anyone drops anything, they're cleaning it. on the rare, like ince every 2 months, occasion i smoke in my car, the window is all the way down with the cigarette outside and the vents on high facing the window to blow the smoke out right away.

No food for anyone. I'll do the drivethrough run, but don't eat it until I'm home. I am allowed to drink, has to be a bottle with a cap. No one else is allowed to drink. I smoke in it everytime I get in. I'm over a pack a day so hard not to. Especially on long trips, smoking and driving just goes together. Smoking is not allowed in the backseat. People are rarely allowed in the back anyway - its a sports car, not a grocery getter. A few people are allowed to smoke in the passenger seat, but only a few.
I smoke some other stuff in their too...
I am intensely **** about my car, I usually do an exterior clean once or twice a week and almost every Saturday. And the Saturday includes a couple of hours of interior work - dust, vaccum, windows (Gunk), and a fresh breeze scent sprayed nicely throughout. I have never had anyone complain of a bad smell. Then again, most people I know are smokers.

Wow, I dont care that much. As long as there are no spills I am happy. I eat and drink in my car all the time. Smoking, absolutely not. MAYBE if I have the tops off...depends on who it is. What I'm more **** about is people opening my door into other cars or closing it with the glass.

All passengers must first be cleanly showered and I make them wrap themselves in plastic before they get in.
I eat and drink in my car. It stinks though when I have to shift.
Any passenger I have while Im eating or drinking automatically becomes my cupholder and serving tray.
oh, and this is a non-smoking area too.

I eat and drink in my Camaro, especially when I'm driving long trips (from Michigan to NYC several times, I consider that a long trip...). I don't smoke and I never let anyone smokes in my car. I even put a small 'no smoking' sign on the passenger sign dash.
Anyone ever drive their Camaro in NYC? Those taxi cabs were freaking me out! The flew by me with less than 1 inch away from my mirrors.

when I get my car running I'm not letting anybody smoke & just to get the point acrossed i took out the lighter in the center console, eating's ok but if one globb of crap touches my car.... they're walkin' home!!!
I eat and drink in mine, I just try to be careful. I choose to enjoy my cars rather than worry about them. Typical stuff, drinks have lids/caps, don't spill/drop food. The only people I'd be getting food with are my friends, and they're all car freaks too, so we respect each others stuff. But yeah, for the one or two times something spilled, you clean it up right away and hit it with some upholstery cleaner. No big deal.
Smoking is a big no in my cars though. The Iroc's got a "Thank you for not smoking" emblem on the dash above the HVAC.

Well I cant even drive yet but I was wondering how badly does smoke stick to your car. I dont have a convertible or anything so I imagine its pretty easy for the smoke to get trapped but what would happen if I smoked a cigar, pipe or something else every once in a while like lets say every month or every other month? I plan on eating things that arent messy but taco bell and king gyros is out of the question. Drinks, no problem at all I dont think but I think drinks with a lot of dye are a not going to happen. I'm just worried that its going to stink of smoke every time someone gets into the car. Any ever use that febreeze stuff or whatever its called.

ive had my car for about a month now. havent eaten or drank in it yet. i can do whatever i want in my car, if i spill a drink/food, im the one that made the mistake of drinking/eating, so if it stains i can only be mad at myself. i smoke dope in it only with my gf, we get out when she needs her cancer fix(i dont smoke cigs so i dont need my car to smell like that unless its raining). she always closes the door by the window! makes me nervouse and i dont wanna sound too bitchy about it so i havent said anything...summers coming so windows will be down most of the time anyways. another time she was gonna put some dvds in the perfectly mint map pocket, almost got them in but i took them and said id hold them till we got home. leaning is ok,, no sitting on tho. i wear a spikey belt so im careful when i get in that i dont tear the seat(i know itsgonna happen one day) my freinds dont understand how i can be this way about my car...thats only cuz they havent spent $5000 on a car yet.

1 more year?? what the heck did you do/?
lol, It started four years ago when I didn't pay a single speeding ticket and my license got suspended, then I got caught driving on suspended and then five more driving on suspendeds (and 25 hours jailtime)................each time they said it was mandatory that they re-suspend me for 90 more days,
well two weeks ago I got my taxes back and paid $937.51 worth of court fines and took a 9 hour driving improvement class just to go to the dmv and hear this chick say that I gotta wait another year that won't start until AFTER I do some stupid intervention interview...................so boys and girls pay your tickets (and buckle up for christ's sakes too!)

Eat: Yes, but only things that are not drip, crumble, or otherwise leave clues that any eating has been done.
Drink: Yes, but only with screw cap bottles. Lids/straws can still spill to easily.
Smoke: Heck no. You may as well let someone take a crap on a rotting fish in your back seat if you're going to allow smoking inside the car. Most smokers don't realize how much they stink... Even when they go outside to smoke, they still smell bad when they come back inside. Peeeeeee-you.

Well, a previous owner of my car was a smoker, and the seats reeked, there was cigarette ash everywhere... At the moment I'm running 4th gen leather seats and no carpet, no dash, basically stripped. Eating and drinking is fine, and spills are easy to clean due to the lack of carpet. But I won't stand smokers, I don't want to have to replace everything again.
