Antenna Came Off

Hey i cut my power antenna out of my 88 the other day and ive been looking for a good repalcement. You gys know of any companys that make ones that will hook right up to the old wires? Or should i just shave it off

Some cars just NEED the antenna to look right. Id have to see it without one.

shave it...looks ten times better. Mine broke and I dont even use one b/c I use the CD player (nothing ever is on the radio!) I am getting mine shaved when I have the car repainted. I have heard of other people getting something from Radio Shack and intalling inside of the car so they get reception with out the ant. showing.

well thats just the thing! I took the antenna off and just for ****s and giggles i turned on the radio to see if it works and every single station that i got before comes in crystal clear! But I would want the power antenna if i could have it back, but only if i could get one that worked right

I never had a power antenna, I just took the regular stock one, trimmed the base that the antenna mounts to, and slid it into one of those wire sleeves behind the dash on the firewall. Works great, it looks like I have no antenna, but I still get the same quality radio.
