Got my B&M Pro Stick Magnum Grip today, have two of the bolts holding it in (the other two werent long enough the way i mounted it)
I'm not sure what to do about the center console
I like the armrest, definatly wanna keep that feature, i dont like how when in first its hard to really get ahold of the shifter completly cause of how close it is to the console, dont like that feature, and i dont like how it looks with just the big hole in the top of the console, and because of the reverse lockout and stuff, making a plate for it would be very difficult to figure out how to do (or maybe i'm just tired)
What do you all think I should do?
Thanks
Chris

Maby use metal to make a bse plat that the handle can fit thru, the fab a shift boot? Make the metal just large enough to replace that part of the consol then use the rest of the plastic.
just my
If it sounds like it would work for you let me know and I will go into more detail about my idea. Don't want to type it all if it doesn't sound like what you want.

The problem is the reverse lockout thingy.....
if ya look at the pics, down at the bottom front of the shifter theres a little "R" shaped metal thing that you have to push down to go from 4th to reverse, neutral, or park
By making a console and/or shift boot, i dont see how you'd be able to push the thing down, know what i mean?
Plus i'm not a big fan of shift boots :-P
Thanks anyway dude

Is there anyway to Fab up something so the shifter sits higher so everything would look and fit better?

raise the shifter. go to a hardware store and buy some bushing sleeves and use them as spacers to raise the shifter. did it in my friends car and it worked out great..
