flash rust prevention
Hey guys i did a quick search and didnt see anything, I was wondering what to do when im preping my Z for paint. i cant work from start to finish on this thing so that means theres going to be some sanded metal open to the elements for about a week. what can i spray on to keep it from flashing?

I guess nobody has had a problem with this, so does that mean i can just leave sections that have been sanded and prepped for about a week without having to re-do it? the car will be covered from the elements.

i would say grab some rattle can primer and paint. it will at least protect it from rusting up until you're ready to paint. when you're ready to paint, just sand all that stuff off, then prep and primer it correctly

thats alot more work that i would like to do, i'd have to re-sand half the car. I thought there was a water based spray or something that i could just wash off when i was ready to paint??
