AutoMeter Guages

Will the 5" AutoMeter guages fit directly or with little modification into the large openings on the stock dash?

What size guages would fit the same way into the 3 smaller openings on the dash?

your gonna have to make a custom gauge panel for the gauges. Covan Clasics make panels that they sell or like i said you can make your own. I highly doubt that any aftermarket gauge will fit perfect into a 82-89 cluster assembly

Do you plan on retaining the stock gauges that go work? If so, then why not look for a speedo that works that will replace your broken one? Or just swap in a newer style IROC cluster that still uses a mechanical cable driven speedo.

The only guage I need currently is the speedometer. I already have a voltage, temp and oil pressure guage mounted under the center air vents.Does the IROC speedometer have the stupid double needle setup, and does it read over 85MPH?

I think they did away with double needle speedo in 85 but dont quote me on that. You can get a speedo gauge that reads to 85, 110, 145,and 200(custom made)
