Firebird Z28?

Ok, I know it's technically possible, but I hadn't seen it done until a week or so ago... I was driving buy & saw this firebird (pop up headlights)... I drive around the back and see it has Camaro tail lights (that wrap around the side....) Neat... 1 of a kind...
I do not have a place to download / setup pics for this forum, but I will email someone the pics so they can post them if you are interested...

Only thing I noticed was the door / bumper molding isn't on the front fenders... besides that, looks like a nice job...

That looks like a Camaro with a Firebird front rather than a Firebird with a Camaro rear. Because of the ground effects being from a Camaro RS, Camaro rims, and no rear marker light, it looks more like a Camaro. It's a well done job, but I'm not a huge fan of pop up headlights. At least it doesn't look like a compete hack job. Pretty well done

technically, the only easy way to do it is to start w/ whatever rear you want and swap fronts, swapping rears would be way more time consuming, and money engulfing that it's worth. You'd be swapping 1/4s bumpers, lights, etc on the back...while the front, you just have to unbolt the fenders, replace the hood, and replace the front bumper. They shoulda got a T/A front bumper, woulda cleaned things up better, and made things flow the way they were supposed to.

i kind of like it. i wouldnt be aposed to buyin it if i were in the market. i however would drop it an inch or so and put black gta rims on it just to mix things up a little more.

Looks good. I still perfer the look of a camaro/firebird, Camaro front end firebird rear.

You can look at the fender flares to and see the difference.

There's a chance that the car was in a car accident and the guy just got a good deal on a firebird front clip/had a parts car. Looks alright, but should have gotten the front ground effects and fitting bumper as well.

Best way to tell if it was originally a Bird or maro is by the 1/4 panel lines. On birds there is a small ledge on the sale panel. Camaro's it starts out flat, then the line slowly builds up into the rear.

That car could look worse, but it doens't look bad, just odd.

I'm thinking the front didn't come out as nice as he wanted it, so he put the bra on it to cover up some lines that are off! Not a bad idea though!
