I just bought a lower door hinge pin replacement for my 1990 iroc, the doors are squeaky and saggy, and i hear replacing the pins can make a difference, and they were only 5 bucks a piece for a new pin and new bushings, so my question is, looking at this damn door, how in the hell do i go about replacing the pins...

where did you get them for $5 a peice? When you do it tell us how hard it is. I want to do this but all these places charge like 30 for them and it might not even be the problem.
I got them from my local parts store, autozone in my area, its not the whole hinge, just the pin and bushings,

Do a search on the topic. Use a floor jack under the door and have someone hold it steady. If replacing only lower pins and bushings you'll need to mark the location of the upper hinge and un-bolt it from the frame. Remove the door spring with a GM door spring tool. It wil help to cut a slot in the middle of the pin. Use a screwdriver on that slot and a hammer to drive out the pin. You then retract the door a few inches to remove and replace the lower bushings.
Before you replace the lower pins and bushings have someone lift on the opened door while you inspect the upper hinge pins for wear. If there is slop there then replacing the lower pins and bushings won't cure your problem.
The Upper door hinge repair kit or Greasable upper hinge repair kit should be used to repair the upper hinges and lower hinges. When you replace upper and lower pins and bushings with these kits you don't un-bolt the upper or lower hinges from the frame, so door alignment after the repair is maintained.

My driver door was making a lot of creaking sounds and you could see it moving up and down when your opened and closed it. I had bought the bottom pin and bushings from Advance, but after looking at the hinges and thinking about it i ordered the top and bottom kit from TDS. I figured that as worn as the bottom pin was I might as well replace the top pins while I had it apart, I don't like doing things twice. Turns out one of the top pins bushing was loose and broken, so that was a good decision on my part.
I used my engine hoist and 2 nylon straps to hold the door (my paint sucks so I didn't have to worry about damage). I couldn't get the tool on the spring to get it out, so I just covered the spring with a rag and popped it out with a pry bar, then used the tool to compress the spring to put it back in.
Be aware that if you do need to replace the top pins you will have to drill or grind them out. The pins are not made by GM to be removable. Buying a new hinge isn't an option either as the top one is welded to the door (bolts on to the chassis).

As Bruce and I have already mentioned. Don't buy anything until you've tested the door to know what the problem is. If you have worn upper hinge pins and bushings, replacing just the lower pin and bushing won't solve the problem. I also sell the lower hinge pin and bushings for $6.25.
