Like this one? They were orignal on the early Fuel Injected Thirdgens. I got these off of a 86 Firebird with a MPFI 2.8. I also had some on my 83 Trans Am with a 305 CFI.

That's so weird.

Back in 1983, somebody would pull up next to you and say "OMG THAT THING IS FUEL INJECTED??? NO WAY!!!!!"

Find anyone that has a sticker making machine(idk the technical name for it). A person who makes signs and drafters usually have them. It only takes them a few minutes to make and only cost you a few bucks.

My brother works for the state making signs so he can make any sticker or sign he wants, without them knowing of course. So i get all my stickers for free.

And for a couple of you, i can get my bro to make some for the door handle and i'll mail them to you since i can put them in a regular envelope. Just drop me a PM of what you want and your address and i'll see what I can do.

Edit: Dont worry about paying for them, no charge

it's not just a matter of making a sticker. They have a plastic lens over them also. It's more of an emblem than a sticker.

We already know this. I told them that when they PMed me. But ive seen them with just stickers before and IMO they look better because you can read them better and from a further distance.

There is a guy on here from the UK that had the "Recaro T/A" door handle emblems made. They look very close to the originals. I asked him about seeing if he could get the "Fuel Injection" ones made. He said he would need a minimum of 50 made, so 25 people would want to have them. He told me they are pretty expensive to buy alone, so a group buy would probably be the route. I've thought about doing this, but getting 25 people commited to buying them is going to be the hard part. I guess they are about 38$ a pair and he would need a sample from someone.

Here is the original thread.
recaro door graphics remade

I am very interested in these, if anyone else is we need at leat 25 more people.

My firebird still has the fuel injection door handles. It was originally a 305 TPI car.

hello all

i can get the decals done no problem, they will be as close to original as its possible to be.
the minimum sample run is 50 ,they would work out the same price as the recaro decals.
we would need a sample, just so we can get them as close to original as possible.
If you are willing to provide the sample we can send you a set of the new decals foc as a way of saying thanks.
now come on you guys, everybody moans that thes decals are next to impossible to get hold of.here is your chance to get some brand new !!!!
if i get ten firm orders and a sample i will get them done.

10 firm orders, 10 x 2 decals per car = 20 decals. Don't know where he's getting the rest. Anyway, are you interested in them or not?
