burnt plastic

It was a stupid mistake but I had the tail light cover off and let the bulbs just hang there. One of the bulbs was resting on the bumper. I went to do something else and the lights were on for a while and the bulbs got hot and the one melted into the bumper and now there is a crater where the plastic melted away.It is about a 1/16 deep and wide as a quater. How can i fix this. All the searches i did had to do with tears or cracks but not filling craters. Will regular bondo work. Thanks

No, bondo and flexible bumpers do NOT mix. I used flexible bumper repair to fix my holes.
