t-top holder things

ok, according to the owner's manual, some camaros came with little holders for the t-tops instead of the bag. I was wondering if i could put that in my camaro cause the bag is a total bitch to deal with and hard to zip up. The bag is already starting to crack and is an eyesore. Can i install the holders in my car with no problems? Im also wondering if the tops will hold in place when i take hard turns (shouldnt be doing that with the tops off anyway, but just in case)

thanks

as far as the holders listed in the manual, ive seen this discussed before and I dont think anyone actually owns those things
I have seen a couple people who have made there own though

myself, I put them in there, glass facing up, with a towel in between the two of em.. same difference, they arent going anywhere

you never know

they may have nixed the holder's on the assembly line at the last minute to save money, manual was already written.

maybe the bag was included with most cars straight from the dealership, so the holders were never popular

anything could have happened
