Ram Air Hoods

I have a carborated 305, is the air box that comes with a ram air hood used for carbed engines or just fuel injected. Also will the hood make a difference without the air box.

airbox is only for an FI setup, but you could use it for a carb setup if you really wanted too.

Ram Air hood will give you more clearance as well as giving you some nice cool air if the nostrils are opened in the front and the back of the hood is opened up as well, and if you are running an open element air cleaner.

No cover on the filter. Just an air filter sitting there. Like the round ones on top of carbs that go up into the cowl induction hoods.
