Car Was With New Paint

Ok guys, ive heard lots of diff things about how long i should wait before i wash my car after i paint it. My car will be done this sunday 7-17-05........ Ive heard anywhere from waiting a few days, to one year

I need help soon lol!
Also how long before i can wax,buff etc

Axle/Gears: ones with teeth
you can wash it any time...after all its usualy wet sanded after 24 hours and buffed. now the important part...polish the car don;t wax it. you can use any polish but not wax for 6 months. polish will shine the car and give a little protection but not seal the paint.
wax will seal the paint and can cause curing problems depending on type of paint used which you didn;t mention what type it was... i hope its base clear. or bc/cc. single stage sucks.
