I have the XM SkyFi2 in the camaro currenty mounted underneath the center air vents, flush with the dash using standard velcro type fasteners. Now it looks really clean, but the adhesive doesn't stand up to the heat too well, and eventually over a month or two, starts to loose its adhesiveness. I was wondering what else is out there that I could use that won't damage the dash if removed? I've contemplated using some of that thick double sided tape stuff, but it says it's "permanent" and that kind of scares me off.

You can use the double sided tape, its just a PITA to take off. If you ever want to remove it just throw a heat gun to it, and remove the excess with some kerosene or some type of adhesive remover.
