Driver window is killing me!!!!
Enough is enough!! I hate this window. It rattles and vibrates and it absolutely will not stop....EVER!!! It also does not seal at the back, I can literally look out the crack between the weather strip and glass. The window will bang and click when i roll it all the way down.
So I removed the panel to see what was up and I found a couple things:
1) The metal brace that I guess holds onto the window motor has cracks in it, around both screws. So it flexes and shifts a great deal when the window is down all the way.
2) There are 3 hooks connected to the base of the window to grab onto braces at the top to secure in into position. Well the middle hook is broke and doesn't grab the hook.
Other than that, besides hunting for a new black door, what can I do?
How well does JB weld work on metal with tears at screw bases?

Sorry to hear how screwed your window is.
Before using JB weld, look at everything and keep in mind if you fix it right and replace the components, you should never have to do it again.
What I wonder is how this would happen. I mean it doesn't sound like problems from normal use.

There are some suggestions in the following link that might be useful:

Also, somewhere on the board is a tech article on how to adjust windows.
