Hurst Dual/Gate 2 Shifter
First of all, I searched, so dont tell me to search (its pretty sad that you have to say this at the beginning of your post. I hate when people say to search so they get their damn post count up
). Second. anyone have the Hurst Dual/Gate 2 Shifter in their car? If you do, please show me pictures. I want to install this into my 1992 Firebird once I get the 700R4 and my V8, I know its made for the Camaros, but what is involved, if anything, to make it fit in my Firebird? If anyone has it in their Firebird, please post pictures and how you did it as well. Also, to those who have it in their car, whats your opinion of the shifter?
Thanks.

Any pics of a dual gate installed in a 91 or 92 bird? I searched as well.

Wow, I saw that this topic looked familiar, then saw that it was posted by me oh so long ago.
I don't think many people have this installed in their 1991-1992 Pontiac Firebirds, mainly because you need a Camaro console to do so.
When I finally do the V8 swap, I aquired a Camaro console to swap in, so hopefully I can use the dual gate shifter.

I'll get some pics up tomm. I have it in my 89 Formula, and like it, but I like the B&M Megashifter much better.

Re: Hurst Dual/Gate 2 Shifter
Thanks guys! IMHO, the B&M looks out of place in a firebird. I like the stock look. The Hurst fits the bill, but only for camaros. I'm wondering what it looks like in a bird. It's too bad they dont make one that matches bird interiors.
