does any one make something like this "the dash saver" i dont want the generic ones that one size fits all windows i want the kind that are designed for our windows so does any one still make them?

 

How old is that ad.That looks like the cardboard accordian type that have been around for ages.I have one of those figure 8 shaped type that unfold themselves when you release a strap.More than big enough for the 3rd gen windshield.Got it a target,get the large one(not standard size).Works very well.I still have the orginal dash pad on my 84 with not a flaw on it.

indeed lol... ever notice that the ad's for things like that the ladies seem to be wearing less and less... I say in another 10 or 15 years they will all be naked trying to sell that stuff/.

so is that a no? or does anyone know the names thatmakes "custom" window shades? i know people out there make them for other cars bacause my dad has one in his Honda and boy does it help!

 

Try ebay.Ive seen many(made to fit) type there.The price though is $40+.Way too much for a shade.Again my target bought "sunshade" is more than suited for the job.

I got an accordian fold up style sun shade at walmart for 4.95. Its like reflective almost and is double layered. As long as it offers UV protecion you should be good. My hope is that the sun shade, along with tinted side and back windows, and some f21 interior spray i can prevent my dash from cracking.
