the car is a 90 iroc
what is involved in replacing the foglight switch ?

the topic says removal. do you mean replacing it with a blockoff plate? or replacing it with another (working) switch?
if its in the stock location all you need to do is pull out the screws sorounding the guage bezzle and remove it (the intirior colored outer piece, not the guage unit) and undo two more screws, the switch will come out. it has an anyoing gm style "easy on easy off" clip on wire plugs. wrestle it off and replace switch with new switch or blockoff plate. instilation is reverse of removal.
if the switch is on the drivers side of the steering wheel (i don't have foglights so i don't know) then it is even easyer, you don't need to pull the whole guage thing, that piece is seperate, there are two 1/4" hex head screws on the bottom, undoo them and that switch panel will fall right out. the rest is the same.
