Nice... Sucks to be hit by someone else... just sitting still!

Looks like a new door (used I mean )
repair on fender, repair on qtr - or section dogleg -
some moldings
and possibly some pull time on your hinge pillar

Good luck getting her fixed!!!

Since the moron who hit you doesn't have insurance, you should collect enough to get a good start on a new one! lol Glad to hear everyone's alright. If need be you can always buy it back from the JY and part it. I would get that dash away from the door if you could so it doesn't crack, those things are worth pretty good money!

damn that sucks. a guy hit me before and he didnt have any insurance plus the guy was a bum living in his car. my laywer told me that its not worth suing him since he has nothing. it sucks. they should hang people with no insurance better yet they shouldn't allow you to buy gas without showing proof of insurance

That is SWEET. That's how it should be. I kinda like the no insurance, no gas idea, but it would get old really fast in practice. About 7 out of every 10 people here can't figure out how to use the credit card machine at 7-11. That would make the line much, much longer.

Well, ask them if they used new oem parts, aftermarket parts, or used parts...used parts could save u lots of money and possibly save it from totaling...

You have the option of keeping the salvage (ie. your car) for the salvage value - which shouldn't be too much on an f-body.

oh, and if you decide not to keep the salvage, most insurance companies will leave a sticker on the car listing everything that is in good condition, missing, or wrecked @ the time of inspection - that way if someone tries to strip the car, they can deduct the value of those items or have the person put them back in the car.

But yes - most every 3rd gen f-body will total if the accident is any more serious than a bumper/fender - they just don't hold much value.

edit: in the state of OKlahoma, if you have no insurance and are at fault for the accident, you can turn their name/info over to an attorney or the state and they will suspend their license.

Well, if it makes you feel better, my poor IROC managed to get itself into a ditch. without me in it. in rush hour traffic. AARRRRGGGGGHHHHH!!!! My dealership has it's own tow truck, and my friend jerry, runs it. we went to pick it up from the storage yard and for some reason, it fell off the wheel lift. O.K. fell off is too simple. IT RIPPED THE FRIGGIN L ARMS OFF THE TRUCK!!!! well the damage wasn't too bad, but crap like this doesn't just happen to you. so cheer up

they came and looked the car over and the person called me to give ma a price they said $3292 but i got a $500 deductible so it leaves me with $2792 but i spent $80 on junk wheels so i can keep my new tires and the 16in wheels. pluse i am going to keep the floor mats and the back window shade. i also want the seat belt guides for the front seats but i can not get them off the seat belt. does any one know how to get the seat belt guides off the seat belts?

I assume that you mean the guides on the side of the seats? There are phillips head screws (2) on each seat. One on the lower side of the guides, and after you remove that there is one inside the guide heres a pic

now if yours is this other style, i have no furshlugginer clue I'm assuming you need to take the seatbelt attachment point out of the ceiling behind the seat.

my RS has been hit twice while parked. First time, my roommate backed him camry into the right side door, creased it pretty bad.

second time it was parked on the side of the road late, like 1am, and a lady in an escort slams right into the back of it, knocking it into the car in front. when i ran out to see what the hell happened i saw she was trashed, slobbering all over her steering wheel, muttering in gibberish. her car was demolished and I just got some cracks in the bumper.
