exactly..... that spoiler and ground effects were only available on the 1988 Sport Coupe model that came eqipped with the 2.8L. In fact, my first F-Body was one of those.

Exactly! 1988 Sport Coupe was the only one that ever had a simple "Camaro" on the GFX rockers. Or that short wing style spoiler. I think they look pretty good in an understated sort of way

Those are from a 1988 V-6 sport coupe, the ground effects are fiberglass... They didn't go to rubber/plastic till I think 91 (might have been sooner though)

The side bottom, and door, along with the 1/4 panel parts are fiber glass, front and rear are plastic.

Reason why I can be so sure of this, is my car has/had them..

You can go to my web page and look at all my pics (alot of them)
http://community.webshots.com/user/nightrider327

Look in albums named......
My $550 1988 camaro project,
more pics of my 88 camaro,
finishing touchs on 88 camaro,
88 camaro engine in, rear end build, interior pics

In the newest folder.. (interior, race seats, an other pics of 88 camaro) you won't see the stock low rise spolier or side GFX though, cause I changed them to 91 Z28 high rise and 91 camaro side GFX
