question about the front end
I just purchased another firebird for 150 and it looks like its been in a bit of a fender bender, the passenger side fender is rather crimped and the driver's side fender is bent in enough by the door that the door barely opens.
With my last firebird after the brakes went out and I hit someone, the frame was bent enough that when I replaced the fubared parts they looked horrible. So I worry with this poor firebird's frame is bent as well.
So if my worst fears are indeed realized, can the front frame work be replaced. I've seen cars with their whole front ends off, but I'm not sure if thats true with every car.
And if you happen to know, how much would that cost?

Cant replace front frame without extensive welding/cutting. Your thinking of 1st/2nd gen fbodies ability to remove front frame. (without seeing a pic) Look under the driver fender near the door. Ive seen many cars that get the bottom fender mounting tab bent up; which will put the fender in a bind, causing the door to hit it.
Sounds like you got my cars twin.
The Back end

and the front

The woman's daughter backed into a tree and shifted everything forward. the Drivers side door is off a little and bent the front fender in and the door out, a little readjustment should cure the problem. there isn't any frame damage to mine, jsut cosmetic stuff.
If yours is like that you should be fine.

I'll show ya what I'm talkin about. This is the passenger side fender-
This is the driver's side fender-
The hood is also a little hard to open, not sure if its the hydraulics or not. Hopefully the frame isn't bent and if it is its nothing a chain and a big tree can't fix.
Thanks alot.
