little light found under 91 pass side dash

hey guys I found a light with wiring still hooked up(I think its a light car is in shambles with no battery so I coudnt exactly check) anyways it looks exactly the same as the kind of light which is right under the center vents above the hvac. except bigger and is a bluish color? I saw it just kinda laying around by where the pass side speaker is..... is there a place for this....?

Above the stereo/ashtray area. Right under the trim piece that holds the rear hatch release, fog lights and defog switch in a TA. Camaro should have a simular setup.

Should be a trip peice that attaches under the passanger side dash area. The trim peice has a white bubble ( for a 84 camaro anyway ) to place a light inside of it. If it's not attached you are prob missing the trim peice.

My 88 has a 194 bulb in a holder that twists into the hush panel under the dash there. Just like a side marker light. Maybe someone just liked the blue light?

I just tore apart a 91...

If its what I think it is, its just the normal pass. side interior. There should be a slotted hole in your kick panel and the light should slide in, then turn to lock. The hole should be right behind where your computer mounts.

The thing you describe, is not actually a light, but the daylight sensor for the automatic headlights. There should be a toonie sized plastic cover on the dash next to the passenger speaker. The *light* you describe should go under it. If it's missing, chances are somebody replaced the dash pad with an older one & that's why it's under the speaker.

Plastic Cover

Daylight sensor

It definitely is the daylight sensor. My bad. I actually pulled off the dash pad last night, and guess what, there was that little 'blue light'...
