removing hvac controls for switches
ok guys i have my center council out of the car now. ( for t5 swap) but its going back in and i had already removed my ac and heater so i have no use for the hvac controls. so i removed it. now im still haveing a stereo so i got that space filled. but what can i use to fill in the space where the hvac control was to mount my switches on. i think i heard soembody call it abs plastic or something correct me if im wrong. badically i just wanted a little piece of plastic matching the radio plate to fill in the hole. thats where im gonna mount my switches. where could i get something like that. hardware store?

Its just ABS plastic. If you really want it to match, look for the radio block-off plate from the 1LE equipped cars. You could easily trim that down to the size of the HVAC controls.

you can get ABS plastic panels at any good hobby store.. they should have diffrent grain patterns... plenty look so close that they could be stock.
