02 ZL1 hood for thirdgen?

anyone know if they make a 02 ZL1 style hood for thirdgens? I have an ss style hood now, but i think the deeper cowl and sharper edges of the ZL1 scoop would look much better. Let me know if you know!
Here's a pic of the hood I'm talking about:

Have you seen the stinger type hood? It's the corvette style hood that has the scoop look witht the raised insert coming from the middle of the "scoop".

I agree this hood looks good.

And I also have the SS hood.

There is such a small difference that I doubt enough people would buy it to actually get someone to produce them.

Right now there is the SS Hood and the Big Block Hood.....so a 3rd hood in the same market area probably won't do so well. I mean look how long its taken to get the inverted cowl made.

What I would suggest is you find a local fiberglass company, show them the pic, and have them make a modified mold off your SS hood. Sure it won't be cheap, but it will be original, and what you want.

Good luck,

look at the wheel tire combo out back!

There is a huge difference between that hood and the normal SS hood. That zl1 hood is MEAN looking!
