body work questoin

whats the best or easiest way to strip down a eurothane bumper cover that has 2-3 layers or work with out sanding it ? i cant see sanding the whole thing by hand. the reason being is that i am painting it and its got cracks in the paint that go all the way down to the bottom layer of paint and i need to get them out before i spray.

SEM makes a product in a spray can called bumper stripper. any paint supply/ body supply store should carry it. your gonna have to prime the bumper after that. ive used it many times at work with excellent results. also becarful when it comes to cracks in urethaine bumpers. it sometimes looks like just cracks in the paint but those cracks can transfer thru to the plastic. its just a slight almost like scratch in the plastic that needs to be sanded out, if its left there it will most likly show thru the new paint job. hope this helps ya out a lil.
