Finger groove shifter?

Does anyone know what year and models the finger groove shifter was offered in? I saw one on ebay awhile ago while searching for firebird parts. I was wondering if there might be one in my local junkyard though, but i dont know which model to look for.

No thirdgen that I am aware of had a finger groove shifter. 82's only had a finger groove Parking brake handle. Lots of GM automatic shift ***** will interchange with our cars. I have a **** from a 05 Impala on my Formula currently.

Tale a peek in the car? More fun that way. Who knows what you might find (that you're not searching for).

No finger groove shifters were used on 3rd-gens. 1982 Firebirds used a cone shaped shift **** that is simular but its flat on the top.

1970's Camaros used a finger groove shift **** and I believe you can still get them new from GM. It should swap onto any '82-83 Firebird or '82-86 Camaro shifter assembly.
