Help with door removal please?

Hey guys,

I have a 91 RS and have the trim, wire harness, spring (from the bottom hinge) off of the passenger door. I am at the step where you're supposed to knock the pin up out of the lower hinge, and was just making sure that there's nothing that I'm overlooking, and if anyone had any technique other than what the book says. The book says grab the bottom end with a pliers and hit with a hammer upward, and me and my friend were banging at it for over 2 hours and not making a milimeter. We tried wiggling the door at the same time, spraying lithium lube but to no avail. Any help or advice would be extremely appreciated! Thanks!

Well, the top hinge looks easy, just 3 bolt heads sticking out, but the bottom it looks like maybe the bolts are the other way around. Do I have to take off the bottom interior panel just left of the lower dash panel to acess the head side of the bolts? If so, How does that panel come off because I am only able to see 2 screws holding it on, and I took them both out and it still feels like it's in there pretty good.

Thanks again

after you take the screws out it slides forward over the hood release then you pull back the black tary paper and there you have it the screws

those kick panels have I think 2 screws buried in the carpeting that are usually totally invisible.Kind of feel around for them, you won't see them.

If they are factory pins the top pin will be mushroomed on the one side.
you will need to use a die grinder or a dremel to carefully grind the mushroomed part off and then it will pop right out
I used a hammer and a screwdriver
