Removing the Power seat
Stupid question, my car seats, old and are soaking wet so I decided to remove them and let them dry while cleaning out the car. The power seat is the one i'm having trouble.
WHat bolts do you have to remove in the back of the power seat.
Also how do you remove the entire back seat. Thank a lot

The pwr seat brackets mount to the floor the same way the manual seat brackets do.Undo the nuts,I think 13mm,on the floor studs, unplug the pwr connector then lift the seat up.You might want to soak the studs-bolts with some type of penetrate before you try to loosen them. Then you can unbolt the seat from the brackets. On the back seat there's a 13mm bolt at the center of the seat. You may have to pull up on the seat cushion a bit to get to it.Once it's out then just pull the cushion straight out,it's held in by velcro at the back. Now the back seat top is a different story.I haven't attempted it yet.Someone else will have to help or look in the haynes/Chiltons/Factory manual.

Imagine you're in the back seat right now, looking underneath the driver's seat, to the right there's that bolt that is way too close to the power seat track(almost no clearance), and then I can't find the fourth bolt.
I guess I just need an open ended wrench to get the closed in bolt out but where's the fourth bolt? there's just a bunch of metal pieces covering things up and I can't see it.

Can you still move the seat foward(do you still have 12vdc to the seat controls)? It's easier to get to the back bolts if you can move the seat all the way foward. If you look at the rear bolts on the passenger seat they are located the same on the driver's side.

Sometimes the bolts have plastic covers over them (they did on mine). They're held in place with 1 screw. It really makes in easier to remove the back nuts with the seat all the way forward.

I have power but that's the only button that's broken( the middle one right? ) Is there a way to fix the button or should I force it? This is annoying

Ringo i completly forgot about the covers. It does help to remove those first(well it's a must).Quick you should still be able to use the switch using a small blade scewdriver to move the base of the toggle switch(switch in mine is in similar shape but I'm the only one that drives her so that's low on the fix-it list).

The button still worked, I just had to press it in more. I successfully removed the front seats and I'll finish the back seats tomorrow.
