T-Tops in a non T-Top car?

Im going to do an RS/Z28 convertion and paint my car (actually, Im going to do all the prep work and primer it and take it to a shop to have the color and clear put on), while I'm at it I was wondering how hard it would be to put T-tops in my ar. Right now, it has a rigged sunroof. The previous owner got his car broken into and they entered via the sunroof. Well, he never covered it up when it rained so it had 4" of water all in it when I got it. I put a piece of Plexiglas in the place of the right side's broken glass (split sunroof, each side opens separately) and sealed it with RTV silicone . Well, now the sunroof is somehow coming off the roof of the car, like the glue or whatever is not holding it down, so I'm thinking of buying a new sunroof to replace the old one before it gets painted, but it would be cool to have T-tops. How hard would it be to put them in or should I just go with a new sunroof?

The color: White with black stripes. I originally wanted silver with dark blue stripes, but I saw a pic of one with the white/black and it looks awesome.
