I had the stock (non power) mirrors on my '82 with the driver side having the little **** inside to adjust it.Last summer I swapped over to 4th gen firebird manual mirrors (also with the interior mounted ****).The only problem was the 4th gen cables for the remote **** are too short to reach to the factory third gen spot on the door panel trim.So what I want to do is take the longer cable and remote from my stock '82 mirrors and swap them into the 4th gen mirrors.They look to be crimped some sorta way.Has anyone ever messed with these remote manual mirror cables?Please shed some light so I can finish this swap!
