new headliner
k i couldnt find what i really wanted with the search. im puting a new headliner in and i dont know how to get the a pillars ( i think thats what there called) but the black plastic trims along the windows. and is there anything else i need to take off to get this in right or any cautions. if you need pics because you dont know what im talking about i can also do that thianks for the help

This can be tricky. Take the clips off it the top around the door. Then bend the plastic down a little bit. If you look at the A-pillar, there will be one clip in the middle and one towards the bottom. These clips a different from the ones at the top on the plastic piece. The ones at the pillar resemble the ones that hold on your door panels. It's going to be tough to get it out, but if you get a long screwdriver(anything else long a pointy will due), you can pry them off. I wouldn't suggest just tugging on the plastic piece because the mounting holes on the plastic pieces can crack. If you break the clips that hold them in, they are a whopping 38cents at a dealership. And if you do break the mounting slots for the plastic trim, its no big deal, its just easier to put back on. Just be careful and you'll be fine.

yeah i just kinda figured it out myself. i broke a couple of the plastic screw things at the bottom of it but i got it in and everything looks a 100times better but thanks
