You need a dremmel tool with a few blades, it is pressed in there and then stamped in on the bottom, good luck. You might want to try and drill out the bottom, but don't drill the hole bigger than it already is.

hmm. The door hinge kit that I have has 2 pins, and 8 bushings. I thought it was to replace the one regular pin that you push, the 2 bushings on that, and the 2 bushings on the roll for each door? Am I missing that pin? Or do I replace the one that i cant get off with the new one and re use the old one? Im confused.
this is what it is..

Are you trying to replace the bushing just on the roller pin? I took two lower hinges apart this weekend and I don't think you can replace those bushings without the proper tools
Lonsal can do it but you have to send it to his shop.
If you are just trying to replace the pins and bushings you use the bushings on the left, the other 4 you won't need.

Ive never seen that kit with the bushing on the left, BUT if those bushings to the left are for the rolling pin.I would grind the head down remove the old bushing.Install the new one. Then i would find a washer with a properly sized hole for the remaining head you ground off. Then weld it on GOOD so it won't fall off.

No you don't have to, one of mine was stuck in there pretty bad but I took a saw zall with a metal blade and cut the pin in half. After that it came out easy, just remember to take out the pin retainer.

The correct way to repair the door detent roller is to replace the entire inner half of the lower hinge.
