Are Iroc and RS grilles the same??

I need a new grille for my 89 Camaro, I found new ones on E-bay that say Z28 and IROC without foglights, are they the same for a standard Camaro??
Thanks.

no they are not. The IROC/Z28 grills are just the center section behind the license plate and the perimeter around the grill opening and the rs, base model ones are more like a real grill with the crossbars that fill in the holes on the side of the center section.

most people will tell you to go with a Z28 because the are a more sports car style grill but the RS one looks more like a muscle car IMO. Either one will work though.

If you do get the z28 You'll need to put some foglights in there or it looks like monkey *** most of the time

Either grille will work on the car, I swapped my RS for an IROC grille and I love it. IMO it looks better without fogs on it, but I installed a set a few weeks later just because I could.
