What does that retainer clip look like?

Alright, so im putting my dash back together after successfully installing an external digital fuel gauge, and in trying to put the headlight switch assembly on, it requires that I pull of the headlight ****. I pull it off, but in doing so, their is some sort of retaining pin that keeps the **** on the unit.

I need a picture of that clip. I pulled mine off, and it landed somewhere in my car, (either drivers seat/floor or in my toolbag). Does anyone have an idea what this retaining clip looks like ? I imagine it is triangular in shape...

i don't recall a clip at all in my Iroc's. It had a little piece you pushed in to release the ****.... I'll go grab my headlight switch i have in the basement and look but I'm pretty sure there's no clip...

yeah not seeing any clip just the pin that you push in to release the ****

What does it look like? I am missing that piece that goes inbetween the **** and the rod. I am guess that it is that pin that I am looking for. I don't suppose you can take a pic of it can you ?
