couple questions about my interior
I was trying to get some goo off my steering wheel a few months ago. And, like an idiot, I used counter top cleaner on my wheel. Lets just say the part I scrubbed isn't shiny anymore (the cloth came off black) and the rest of the steering wheel is shiny. How can I fix this? I never tried armor all, cuz its too slick for a steering wheel, and even if I used it, it wouldn't come out evenly.
Also, I used another cleaner on the interior of my car that DESTROYED my turn signal when I accidentally oversprayed on it. I had to spend like $80 at a dealer for a new one, and the pattern for the writing wasn't identical. (really pissed me off, esp for 80 bucks) Anyway, there are a number of water drop sized marks around other plastic parts of my car (the light switch, my center console, etc) that could either be from the previous owner or more overspray. Any ideas how to make them disappear without buying new parts?
Now, I've just reverted to using water on getting dust off. after inadvertantly killing my baby. The harder I try to make my car looking good, the more I mess it up
Also, the previous owner left some sticky goo in the inside of the storage compartment in my center console. I just bought some "GOO GONE" cuz its that really sticky stuff that doesn't look like regular cleaners will tackle. Should I use this product or try something else?
Thanks,
Bill
