Well both of the dashes on both cars are cracked. I'm planning on going with 4th gen dashes on both but no time soon. My 92 dash has like 20 cracks in it. I can get black carpet cheap at Menards, cost me like $20 when i replaced my carpet. I still have 3M carpetglue leftover. So, for $5 or so, would it be a good idea as a temp fix if i glued carpet to the dashboard? I would think it would be just like those carpet dash protectors...

They also sell custom fitted dash covers with the vent holes and everything already cut out.
