4th gen power seats
4th gen power seats
FYI I have a '72 Cutlass Hope it is OK to put some F body parts on it.
I picked up some seats this weekend from a 93 TA and to my surprise I find they have round switchplates on the sides. Looks like a pump under one as well and a mystery paddle. Search must be broken but I still managed to find out (a LOT of reading) how to wire them up and all and what the mystery paddle was for.
My question is: why do the small wires (in my case a white, grey, and grey/black) need to be connected from side to side? Also, can I find an easy way to hook the airline from one seat to the other OR do i have to go to the dealer for a new transfer pipe? Anyone got a part number?
THANKS

Im sorry, since the question is the same NO MATTER WHAT CAR I install these seats into, I didnt know it would be an issue. Not only that, it is a question that I could not find the awnser to here, so an awnser to it would benefit the whole community.
