Shoulder belt customization
I was just wondering if someone would have a picture of how the read shoulder belt is mounted in the back seat? Last year some time I purchased some 4th gen seat belts and would like to customize them to fit in my 84 camaro. I also plan on buying the plastic panels from a newer model camaro to accommodate these rear shoulder belts. I’m thinking all I will have to do is weld in a little metal to bolt them to but I don’t know, so to see how there mounted stock would help me out a lot.

I'm doing the same exact thing with my 84 Trans Am. There are metal brackets that are spot welded to the rear inner fenders, to which the rear retractors mount. I cut them out of a later 3rd gen, I still need to drill out the spot welds and get them welded into my car. I'll try to post up some pictures of the brackets later tonight

here are the pics. I cut out the entire section of the rear inner fender from the donor car and I'll drill out the spot welds to separate the brackets.
