Transmission: th-400 PTC 4000 stall
Axle/Gears: ford 9" 3.55 gear
91z cluster

i have a 91z with a 305 tpi and auto, the tach is way off and the speedo only reads 110, is this normal? it looks like it might be a v6 tach or something, anyone have any ideas? thanks for the help

my old 91 RS with a 305 TBI 5-speed had the speedometer with a 110 mph max, and the tach worked fine

110 not fast enough for you? just kidding. IROC's only got the 145 mph speedo from the factory. Otherwise you got the 115.

ahh ok, just wondering, well i guess that leaves the wondering on why the tach reads about 2x the amount of rpms that are actually turning..

Well Im not sure whats up with your tach, but the 110mph speedo is normal. The 350 Z28s in 91-92 got the 145mph speedo as far as I know. I have one for sale if your interested.
