Just wondering if there is anything people have done or can be done with the shift **** on my '91 auto.. I dont want to put in an aftermarket shifter (Yet) so, any ideas??

 

I've been toying with the idea of taking an aluminum t-handle and modifying it to fit the factory shifter shaft. Just haven't had the time to try. Would have to drill a hole thru for the release button and do some counter boring, etc. If it worked I know someone who could possibly cast some up. But I need access to a mill and that's another problem. Maybe someone can take my idea and run with it.
