T-top holder

Did any of the 3rd gen camaros or firebirds come with a holder in the hatch area like the 4th gen's do? I am afraid the glass is going to break one of these days if the two tops hit each other hard enough.

My car did, It's a viynal bag that's the size of 2 T-Tops stacked on top of each other. It's tied down with strap that looks like it is 1/3 the width of a standard seat belt.

I think most of the t-top cars just came with the bag, but it would be real nice if ours car had the slots like the 4th gens.

You should have a bag with straps for the t-tops. The bag sits flat across the flat part of the trunk and extends over the well of the trunk space. Once zipped into the bag and the bag strapped down, they shouldn't move.

Or, if you have a stereo in the back like i do..
I just wedge them in between the back seats and the center console..
Yeah i know it's not the best Idea, but i've had the car sideways and the t-tops haven't moved.

My dads 4th gen z28 t-top camaro has two slots in the trunk to hold the t-tops. I didn't mean to confuse anybody I was not calling the trunk a slot eventhough the name seems appropriate because of the space.
If a get a pic of the slots that hold the t-tops I would post them.
