RS v/s Z28 GFX

I have a set of GFX from a 91 RS camaro. I got all but the rear bumper cover. Is it any different than than a Z28 bumper cover? I forgot the rear brackets for the side skirts so I got to go back to the pick a part and get them and can get the bumper if needed. MY buddy said he thought his RS car flared out more at the bottom on the bumper.

no different, from everything i've read on here. the only diffence is the emblem in the bumper but that is easily replaceable. the 'z' emblem and 'rs' emblems are the same size

well it all depends on what year camaro u have....if its a 85-90 then ur ground effects are totally different from the 91-92 style ones, u would need the side the door pieces, rear bumper, rear bumper extentions, and the front lip to complete the swap.....but other wise there the same if urs is a 91-92....

Axle/Gears: posi, and posi w/discs :D.
91-92 had "Aero" GFX. all camaros made in 91 and 92 had them. they were all the same from the Z28 to base model V-6 with power nothing. in 85-90 they had GFX that bassicly just extended the body down 2-3 inches. but in 82-84 the GFX had slots in the nose and were shorter than the rest. oh and only the Z-28, IROC and RS got the GFX from 82-87. from 88 on ALL camaros regardless of options had them.

alot of people like the 91-92 aero style GFX better. id personally like to get some, but no $$$

The rear bumper cover on a 91-92 curls out at the bottom whereas the earlier one is flat at the bottom.

So all the bumper covers (Z-28/IROC) from 85-92 are pretty much the same, except for the rear covers right?

well...yes and no...

the rear bumper covers are different in '91 and '92, correct...

the FRONT bumper covers are the same, but the front valance piece (the front lip that goes under the bumper cover) is also different for '91 and '92. you can use either the pre-'91 valance piece OR the '91/'92 style with the same front bumper. they are interchangable. so yes you are correct in a sense, but if you're gonna buy a front bumper from an IROC-Z you're gonna have to get the matching '91 and '92 front clip to match the rear bumper and the side skirts of your car
