I know some people have said to use truckbed coating, to duplicate the wrinkle black finish we have on our interior pieces (such as dash etc).

Will it stick real good to gray plastic panels, or should and can I use plastic adhesive improver, or whatever it's called.

 

Buy SEM texture paint. That's what it's made for. The truck bed paint isn't likely to be flexible enough to flex with the plastic.

But if you insist, just sand the piece like you would for any other type of paint before you spray the truck bed paint. How far you hold the can from the piece will determine how rough the texture is.

 

Where can I get SEM paint ? Online only ?

I need it not only for the regular panels, but also for center console touch up as well as painting my subwoofer box once I'm done with it.
