Steering Wheel

Just wanting to know do i have to deploy the airbag to remove it or what?
I have a 87-88 non-airbag steering wheel that way im wanting to install

First of all get in the drivers seat, make sure you buckle up. Next drive around 100 to 120 and hit a wall, airbag will deploy, problem solved

no you don't

first thing you need to do if find your air bag fuse and remove it. So there is no power to the airbag. Then you will be able to remove the torx bolt behind the airbag. Pull the airbag out away from the steering wheel uplug it and set if off to the side facing up. Then you proceed to remove the steering wheel just like you would any other steering wheel. Just remember to leave the airbag fuse out of the fuse box.
