Well i'm thinking my T/A is going to be needing floor pans and I noticed that Hawks does have them available. I've done bodywork, but I have never replaced the floor pans on a car, with the proper equipmnet is it very hard ?
With the proper equipment,no.Once the interior is stripped you can lay the new floor pans in place and trace around them with a marker, take them back out.Cut out 1" below the marker line,as well as remove any floor bracing that will need to be reused.Drill 5/16" holes around the top edges of the new floor pans every inch or so.Ley the floors in place, line them up,start welding. It would also be helpful to sheetmetal screw them in place once you have the new pans lined up to hold them tightly during welding.Replace any previously removed bracing and weld back in as well.Seam seal and paint/undercoat.
