I know this is a long shot but does anyone is possible to get doeskin fabric anywhere to match PMD seats. I need to recover my seat backs. I have tried twice already with material that I thought was a close match from Upholstery Shop but still was away off. I know Hawks do a seat cover seat but since my seats don't need recovering (Picture Below) then it would be a waist to recover everything just to get the seat backs to match. Any help appreciated.

 

It's highly unlikely that you'll ever find the right fabric, and even if you do, it's unlikely that brand new fabric will be a good match for the original stuff that's had 20+ years of fading and wear.

A new set of complete covers is the only way that you'll get a good result.

 

Parella fabric in Camel Tan (Don't know why everyone calls it Doeskin) or in any other color is not reproduced.

 

I found some NOS blue Parella cloth last year, 8 yards still on the roll. Last week I sent the material off to Hawks to have some seat covers made. I’m a little worried because I paid through the nose to get the material and there is only one shoot, however, I bought seat covers from Hawks before and the quality was quite good. They should be back in a few weeks.

I wish someone we repo it, I need some more. Seems like with all the Knight Rider fans some company would want to repo Parella cloth.
