T-tops ? cars and concepts

whats the difference between the gm tops and cars and concepts? when were which used during the 3rd gen?

Car: 1983 Daytona Trans Am

Engine: LG4

Transmission: T5

Axle/Gears: 3.73

Both were used from 1982 - 1992. C&C is a aftermarket conversion done on factory hardtop cars.
