Hey,

I am in the market for a new set of front buckets. I know fiero seats will fit nice and newer 4th gen seats fit too. I have heard that Grand Prix seats fit as well. So, those of you that know what seats will fit the factory mounting locations and won't look stupid, let everyone else know here.

 

Seriously, it depends on how bad you want the seats to fit. Theirs a guy here somewhere who pulled seats from an Audi TT, put in the rails, and made em fit (insert macgyver session where all the work necessary to mod those rails is shown) ... but, it can be done. I don't know where the thread is, but I know i've pics of it in the gallery.

hopefully this will lead you to believe that anything (barring bench seats.) can be put in as long as your willing to put in the work to make it fit.

 

really like he said its up to you. you decide if you can make it fit on some rails or brackets. how bad do you want them in your car.

I'm looking for a set that I don't have to modify the brackets to get them to fit. Either I can bolt F-body sliders to the seats or I can bolt the seats right up to the floor. I definately like the look of those Audi seats. Damn that's expensive for seats.

 

bump for an answer besides 4th gen seats and fiero seats..neither of which are too spectacular.

 

If I'm not mistaken, 90% of GM's have the same seat bolt patterns ( same thing with mirrors too ).

I believe I read this somewhere in the FAQ section.

Don't quote me on it, but I believe that RX8 seats (at least the front) may possibly be swapped into a thirdgen with some modification.
