Headliner
I know they have post about this subject but couldnt find one that anwsered my questions. when i removed my headliner today i notice that the fiberglass is broken around the seat belt areas. if i get the fiberglass cloth and repair those areas, should i just do the entire headliner in that stuff to reinforce it from breaking later on? also when cleaning the old glue off, do i remove it till i see the fiberglass stuff(yellow). please let me know

Rather than use fiberglass mat to repair my headliner, I actually used burlap from Jo Ann Fabrics that I soaked in spray adhesive. It sounds cheesy, but it repaired the broken spots beautifully, but still provided enough flexibility for me to get the headliner in and out of the car easily. Laying fiberglass mat and soaking it with resin will make the headliner very stiff, which will make it more difficult to install & remove.
When scraping the old material off, just get whatever comes off loosely. Most likely, you'll find that all of the foam comes off, but none of the yellow surface should come. I just use a plastic brush that you'd use to clean potatos with.
