my brother had the same problem in his 90 RS, if I remember correctly, he used an ice cube to harden the wax so he could pick most of it off with a plastic putty knife, then he used some ronson lighter fluid on the residue to remove it and then cleaned the area with upholstery soap afterward.

Lighter fluid is good for many things. The ice thing works too.

LOL keep women and children far away from your fbody, or at least under close supervision

and yeah, the lighter fluid worked well on his interior, after he was done you couldn't even tell there had been crayon there.

Then ban her from ever even touching the car again, nevermind riding in it.

Happened to me too. Lighter fluid works. You can also use Goo Gone. It works wonders.

If none of that works, slit her throat on it. May not help clean it up any, but youll feel better for trying...

pick off most of the crayon with your finger first , the put a towel over the rest and use an iron ( that you use to iron clothes with ) to melt it, it will be picked up with the towel...lighter fluid will weaken the threads and make them prone to tears more easily..

iron idea

I don't think the iron idea is such a good one... I spilled a lit candle over at a party one time (who in gods name decided to light a candle and put it on the floor around a whole bunch of drunk people?!) and did the iron thing to remove the wax, but it still left a pretty nasty stain that needed tended to.

Girlfriend? Crayons? I hope for your sake your girlfriend is of legal age!

According to 2000 uses for WD40 -- Tacoma Wheelmen , WD-40 can get crayon out of carpets... but it doesn't mention how to get the oily WD 40 out...

I've always used goo gone.

Or lighter fluid-

Good luck!

Putting an iron to it with a towel on top of it wouldn't work as the wax isn't like water and wouldn't be picked up completely by the towel.

Putting an ice cube on it then picked most of it off. The remainder should be able to be cleaned off with cleaning solution.

straight from chilton...

Chewing gum, tar, crayons, shoe polish (greasy stains)

Do not use a cleaner that will soften the gum or tar. Harden the deposit with an ice cube and scrape away as much as possible with a dull knife. Moisten the remainder with urinary fluid and scrub clean with desecrator's face.
