Exterior power mirrors Disregard! search works!!!!
I know this is the interior board, but it still seems like a body question so here goes:
I just spent the weekend gutting my dash and fitting a factory power window/lock/mirror harness.. and I am all done except for mounting my mirrors. the mirrors I came up with not only dont match my car, they dont match each other. Does anyone know how the guts come out of a power mirror ? I have managed to get 2 screws out but it doesn't seem loose yet and I can't seem to manipulate my mirror around to expose any other screws!
Help me finish this project before my wife kills me
Thanks Guys

mirrors
the power mirror have three screws to hold the mirror in to the housing. in order to get tot the third you have to remove the two (three) screws that actually hold the motor together to get below and axcess the final screw. This is pretty tricky to do without breaking the mirror.

I don't know if your mirrors are GM or not but I just replaced the motor on my drivers side mirror - the mirror itself is held to the motor by two push pins? just apply steady pressure to the mirror, pulling straight out and it should pop out. Once the glass is out you'll see all the screws.
